We’re lucky to have helped support many start-up floristry businesses…
Here are a few standout businesses that form part of our alumni. Each one different.
-
The Wild Society
Alarna transitioned from a corporate job to floristry in just five days with us. She has gone on to gain huge respect in her community, winning a contract at the prestigious Wilderness Reserve.
A year after the course, she took the lease of a flower farm and now juggles growing and working on events.
Absolutely committed to sustainability, Alarna only uses British flowers. You can follow her flower journey on her Instagram.
-
Millefleur
Pearl worked in fashion before she came on the career change course with us. She’s gone on to have huge success and her designs are incredibly unique.
She has really pioneered a new style for floristry, particularly working with dried flowers and her aesthetic is next level.
She now regularly partners with The Lane, one of the industry’s hardest publications to crack.
-
The Little Flower Hut
Gill started small following the course but has grown her business with focus and dedication.
She now reaches high end clients in the wedding market.
Her diary is usually fully booked and her Instagram is so gorgeous.
-
Tulip & Cactus
Jenna had no experience at all with flowers when she came on the course. Just a feeling that is was her future dream job.
She has since developed a bohemian style of flowers and offers sell out workshops and local flower deliveries.
She recently expanded into an even bigger studio with an event space. It’s been wonderful to watch her business take off.
-
Blowth Flowers
Jessy splits her time between Cornwall and London, and works full time as a freelance florist.
Although she was already working with flowers, she came on The Floral Retreat to firm up her processes and pricing.
Her background as a visual artist means she has a playful eye. Jessy has since worked with The Good Florist team freelancing both in the UK and in Italy.
-
Wild Rose Cornwall
Katy has the most beautiful cutting garden in Cornwall.
She was already growing flowers when she came on the five day career course, but we worked on helping her define her services further.
She now offers weddings and seasonal flower bouquets and has developed a really strong brand identity.
