A one day contemporary workshop hosted by Roberta, The Good Florist and Pearl Watt, Millefleur in the heart of the English countryside. 

This workshop is about a sense of place, the beauty of process and art of production. 

Hosted in a spectacular grade one listed gothic mansion in the Cotswolds, the focus of the day will be large scale installation and table design, as we explore the blurred line between AI and reality.

Roberta & Pearl will be discussing art direction, styling and the logistics of business, along with demonstrating techniques of large scale design.

The day will be a coming together of ideas, pushing into new and unexpected visual concepts. We’ll be experimenting with materials and redefining what’s possible for ourselves as designers.

Our final group compositions will push the boundaries of floral design and finish with an industry defying highly curated photoshoot.

Working exclusively with local flowers and branches, this workshop will celebrate the start of the British flower season and help prepare us creatively for the busy months of work ahead.

About your hosts

Pearl, Millefleur has vast design experience, having been an art director for many years in luxury fashion. Her experimental confidence leads to work with incredibly dramatic and elegant composition.  With an inimitable style of her own, partnered with The Lane and regularly published, Pearl’s unique eye and creativity is pushing the bar of event design here in the UK. 

Roberta, The Good Florist works with international planners and clients from all over the world, travelling far and wide to create beautiful conceptual one-off events with her team.
Her highly thoughtful approach put people and place firmly at the centre of design, creating experiences that are designed to create an emotional response and foster connection.

We are choosing not to publicise the venue, as we want it to remain exclusive, but for your planning purposes the venue is located five miles from Stroud, Gloucestershire. Stroud is on the main trainline from London (1.5 hrs).

We welcome florists, both freelancers and business owners to book. Experience level isn’t an issue, but a curious mind is essential.

We also have a limited number of places open to photographers & videographers who can join the day for business content creation. Please contact us for rates.
